Announcing:
The First-Ever
BOX LUNCH BOOT CAMP
Benefiting the NSA Foundation
Sunday, February 5 | 12:30pm – 2:30pm
The 2012 NSA Winter Conference is all about Monetizing Your Message. Meaning actually taking your intellectual capital and turning it into revenue, whether it’s through speaking, coaching, consulting, digital and physical learning resources, licensing, affiliate programs, or hopefully all of the above.
And there is one medium for doing that, which is the single most essential one in our space right now…
Social media. Or more specifically, social media marketing.
Because this topic is so vital to your present and future success, NSA is going to do something we’ve never done before. A fresh, innovative, new format like nothing you’ve ever seen. The…

BOX LUNCH BOOT CAMP
It is a special working lunch, beginning shortly after the final general session on Sunday, February 5. So it’s imperative you don’t book your flight out until late Sunday evening, or else stay until Monday to process and create your action step list of all you’ve studied and want to implement. (Not to mention, that means you can also join us for the NSA Super Bowl bash Sunday evening!)
What will you learn?
This Boot Camp will be laser focused, to provide you the answer to the following 13 questions–in exactly this order:
- Can I still do social media if I’m old, afraid of technology and don’t know what a twitter is?
- What are the specific social media sites to be on, and which ones are a total waste of my time?
- Realistically, how many hours a week do I have to devote to social media to be effective?
- How should I handle it if my audience wants to text or tweet during my presentations?
- What can be delegated, and what do I have to do personally?
- What if I build a fan page and no one comes?
- How does mobile factor into the equation?
- How does blogging factor into the equation?
- What’s the secret to getting my audience members to ‘like,’ follow, and subscribe to my feeds?
- Do I still need a newsletter or e-zine if I’m doing social media effectively?
- Does social media make speakers bureaus, event promoters and other intermediaries irrelevant?
- How can social media help me in sculpting my brand?
- How do you actually utilize social media to market learning resources, speeches, public seminars, coaching, and consulting — without being spammy, sleazy or obnoxious?
Buckle up and come ready to rock, because you will learn the complete and fascinating answers to each of these 13 questions in machine-gun pace.
You will leave with the knowledge and game plan necessary to immediately set-up or step-up your social media presence to a world-class level.
This will enable you to connect and engage with your tribe, build you brand and create strong residual and passive income streams.
Who’s the drill sergeant?
There will be a drill sergeant there to keep you in line, but he won’t be leading the session. The person leading the Boot Camp isn’t a sergeant, lieutenant, five-star general or even Star Fleet Commander…
He is a Jedi Knight, fighting the forces of spam, insipid tweets and boring status updates. In fact, he is the Jedi Master of social media…
This Jedi has a massive following on Twitter, his blog is ranked in the top one-half of 1 percent in the world for traffic, he has huge numbers on Facebook and LinkedIn, and a wildly popular YouTube channel. He holds top rankings on Empire Avenue, Peer Index and has a Klout score that rivals Oprah.
Of course we are talking about none other than Randy “Obi-Wan Gage, J.M.
Teach you how to master social media, he will. Learn how to harness the Force to captivate, mesmerize and empower the universe you will.
But you will do this without broadcasting at people, making pitches or tweeting your lunch menu. Lead to the dark side, these do. You will learn the Jedi tools of engagement, compelling content, and providing value. This is the Jedi training that Randy learned at the feet of Yoda, the Jedi Master who instructed him.
Because it’s a special post-conference session, it requires a separate sign-up. But pay for it you cannot, young padawan…
This session will be accessible on a “use the Force” basis only. Randy is donating his time, buying you a box lunch to eat during the Boot Camp and teaching all of his most closely-guarded Jedi secrets for mastering social media on one condition: When the session is over, you will make a donation to the NSA Foundation equal to the actual value you receive. Meaning some percentage of the extra sales you know you will actually earn with what you learned.
You and you alone are the judge. Pay $10, pay $10,000 or anything in between. Or pay nothing and grab a free lunch.
This will be a concentrated, information-dense Boot Camp going two hours from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., with no breaks. You’ll eat while you learn. And we ENCOURAGE you to bring your smart phone, iPad, video recorder, tablet and other devices. We WANT you to Tweet, text, record, film, and post during the session. We’re going to be talking about social media after all.
Feel free to record part or all of the session for reviewing again at home. Our only request is that if any of your colleagues who aren’t at the Boot Camp ask you for a copy–you have them make a donation to the NSA Foundation on the same basis you did.
So what’s next?
- Decide you are going to stop waiting for this computer fad to blow over, and you’re ready to join the Jedi Council of social media marketing.
- Book your plane ticket home for Sunday evening or Monday.
- If you haven’t yet registered for the Winter Conference, you can select that you’re attending this event during the online or printed registration process. If you have already registered for the Winter Conference and would like to add this Boot Camp, email info@nsaspeaker.org or call NSA at (480) 968-2552.
There is no cost to reserve, but we need to know you’re coming to order your lunch.
We sense the Force is strong in you, and look forward to seeing you at the special session.
